ISSUE #03 · WEEK 3 · JUNE 2026 · THE LOSE TO WIN WEEKLY

The Messy Middle.

Not every day goes to plan. That's the whole point.

👋Peter's Week

The Week That Didn't Go to Plan

One leg played up. A session turned into half a session. A morning went sideways before the alarm even went off properly.

And then I pulled out the old magazine. The Australian Ironman cover. Me, 25 years ago, after the transformation that changed everything. Held it up next to a photo of me now and posted it without overthinking it.

The gap between those two photos is the whole reason Lose to Win exists. The journey isn't linear. Didn't need to be then. Doesn't need to be now.

💡One Better Choice

This Week's Challenge

One thing. That's it. Don't overthink it — just try this for the next seven days.

Get outside for 10 minutes every day this week. Walk, stand, breathe. Just 10 minutes. No excuses.

🧠What I Learned

Damage Limitation Is Still a Win

Not every week is a breakthrough week. Sometimes the best you can do is not go backwards. And that's a legitimate win.

Perfectionism kills more fitness journeys than pizza does. A messy, imperfect week where you keep showing up is worth five times more than the perfect plan you abandoned.
